Saint Apostol Andreas (as we all know Saint Andreas is the brother of Saint Peter and the first-called apostol - Also the patron Saint of Patras)
The church is the largest orthodox church in Greece and second largest in balkans (after Saint Sava in Belgrade)
Inside the church are kept parts of the relics of Saint Andrew , which consist of the small finger, part of the top of the cranium of Saint Andrew and small parts of the cross!
Its a great blessing for all Peloponnese and Greece...just to imagine that the first called Apostol lived and suffered martyrdom here...
