Idag fick jag faktiskt svar från santorini.com och jag är väldigt imponerad av svaret :

"Buses going to and from the port are timed to match all of the ferries arrival & departure schedules.

There are always buses no matter what the time or season, but there isn’t such a thing as ‘every 20 minutes a bus passes by to take you to the port’.
So when you arrive, there will be a bus waiting. On departure just call the main bus station in Fira (+30 22860 25404), tell them which ferry / day / time you are leaving, and they will tell you which bus you have to catch to get to the port on time.

If you are staying in Oia, you must make your way to Fira for the bus to the port.

Taxi drivers get a bit ‘creative’ with the fares. If you get a taxi from the port they might ask you to share (illegal) so they can get double fares for just one route. Sometimes it’s just to help new arrivals because there aren’t enough taxis at one time.
Ask them to turn the meter on – something they don’t normally do. A fare from the port to Fira may vary from 25 euro to 40 euro – from the port to Oia it will be double.
It all depends on the driver – your best bet is to negotiate BEFORE you get into the taxi.
You could get the port bus to Fira and then change at the main depot for Oia .. much cheaper. Buses from Fira to Oia depart every 30 mins. But then you would have to drag your suitcases around Oia until you find your hotel – not the easiest thing.
Or get the bus from the port and then take a taxi to Oia to break up the cost – the taxi rank is next to the bus depot.

Det var rummsvärdinnan som fixade taxi åt oss, och taxi finns kanske inte alltid i krokarna på eftermiddagen så vi fick åka en timme innan vi behövde, men vi satt gärna i hamnen och tog en Fix innan Blue Star kom.

Mange hoteller har jo gratis port/airport service.

Forrige lørdag hentede hotellets bil mig på havnen og kørte mig op til hotellet i Karterados. Dagen efter blev jeg kørt til flyvepladsen.

Jeg ser. Du skal altså slet ikke overnatte på hotel. Og havnen er ikke spændende nok til en hel dag...

Jag älskar Oia och eftersom jag byter båt på Santorini på väg mellan Kreta och Naxos så måste jag bara ta tillfället i akt att besöka fina Oia.
