Astypalea

Hello,

Please excuse my English, but my Swedish is very poor. I've been looking for information on Astypalea and hope someone can help me. I'll be going there in July and would appreciated any information on inexpensive hotels -- recommendations or ones to avoid.

Robin.Congratulations to your interest in Astypalea.It is a wonderful island.I have been there a several times mostly in the village Livadi.This village has a beautiful beach and lots of hotels and pensions,about five restaurants.Livadi is about 2 km from Chora and Scala.Regular bus-traffic every day.Astypalea has its own web-site and is described in Kalimera,but in swedish.Have a nice trip.
